Happiness = Expectations – Reality!

I attended a conference on real estate sponsored by UCLA. The keynote speaker was an econometrician, Ray Torto, CRE, Ph. D., from Boston.

Being an econometrician, he defined happiness in an equation format: Happiness = Expectations – Reality!

When we interact with our clients, our primary focus should be managing the expectations of our clients and making sure that we meet those expectations. Then, their reality will equal their expecatations and they will be happy. Happy clients pay their bills in full, on time and refer us more business!
