Your prospects for 2006?

The American Lawyer(R) reports that managing partners of the nation’s largest law firms are bullish on their prospects for the upcoming year, predicting that their revenue and profit increases will outpace the economy in 2006.

Almost half of the respondents plan to raise billing rates more than five percent and 68 percent expect profits per partner to increase by more than five percent. But, the leaders surveyed continued to lament growing discontent among the younger associates who drive firm billings. These and other results from the magazine’s annual survey of Am Law 200(R) law firm leaders are featured in the December issue of The American Lawyer.
